JUURI x Ebizo TV

These paintings of young kabuki actors Ichikawa Botan IV and Ichikawa Shinnosuke VIII were purchased by their father, kabuki superstar Ichikawa Ebizo (now Danjuro.)

The pieces were featured on Danjuro-san’s blog and even made their way to his Youtube channel, though sadly the video is no longer available.

As a longtime fan of both kabuki and the Danjuro family, this entire saga was the honor of JUURI’s life and quite a surreal experience.
