JUURI x Morikami Museum & Gardens

JUURI was among 5 Asian-American artists and muralists invited to participate in a group show at the Morikami Museum and Gardens in Delray Beach, FL in May 2023.

Her striking piece “Shimé”, based on the kabuki play “Narukami”, attracted much attention at the opening event and beyond.

JUURI and the other artists also participated in a panel about the role of Asian-Americans in contemporary art in the US.
